Where is mouth pain found?
The mouth contains many parts that are constantly in use. The teeth or gums can often be the cause of pain however, the soft tissues of the mouth, including the lips, inside of the cheeks, tongue, floor and roof can become infected by sores, causing discomfort and pain.

How do you treat mouth soreness?
A mouth ulcer can be treated with a topical solution such as an antiseptic gel, steroid ointment or mouth rinse. Cold sores can be treated with antiviral creams or patches. Other pain, such as teeth or gum pain should be seen by a dentist or other medical professional.
