Colief Infant Drops can be used at every feeding until your baby is about 3-4 months old. After this period, you can gradually reduce the use of Colief by first halving the drops per feed, then using it only at alternate feedings, and finally at just one feeding per day before stopping completely. If discomfort returns, go back to the previous dosage.

Instructions for Breastfeeding: Express a few tablespoons of breast milk into a sterilized container. Add 4 drops of Colief. Feed this to your baby with a sterilized plastic spoon. Continue breastfeeding as usual.

Instructions for Infant Formula: Prepare the formula according to the manufacturer's instructions. Add 4 drops of Colief to warm (not hot) formula. Shake occasionally and feed the baby after 30 minutes, ensuring the bottle is at the correct temperature. Discard any unused formula. If preparing in advance, add 2 drops of Colief to warm milk, refrigerate for at least 4 hours, and use within 12 hours. Warm to feeding temperature before use. Discard any unused formula.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Mix the drops into your baby's milk; do not administer the drops directly to your baby. Colief is most effective in milk that is at body temperature. Avoid adding Colief to milk that is too hot or too cold, as heat can destroy the enzyme. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully when preparing formula milk. When you start feeding your baby milk with Colief, you may notice a change in stool pattern, which could become looser and more frequent, similar to that of a breastfed baby. In such cases, consider reducing the number of drops per feed. If you have any concerns about your baby's health, consult a healthcare professional. Once opened, store in the refrigerator and discard after three weeks. Do not use after the Best Before date on the package.
