Hold the tube with your thumb and middle finger, turn it upside down near the eye, and avoid touching the eye with the nozzle. Squeeze the tube to release a thin strip of ointment, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Blink a few times. If you miss the eye, apply another strip. Gently wipe away any excess ointment with a tissue. Repeat for the other eye if needed. Replace the outer cap, avoiding contact with the applicator tip. Wait at least 30 minutes before using any other eye medications.
