Make sure the injured finger or toe is clean and, if needed, covered with a sterile dressing. Cut a piece of tubular bandage about two and a half times the length of the finger or toe. Slide the tubular bandage over the finger or toe. Secure the end of the bandage by twisting it completely around. Use tape to hold the end of the bandage in place for added security.
