Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water, with or without food, to treat thrush at the infection site. Symptoms should improve within two days. If there is no improvement after seven days, contact your doctor. If the infection returns after seven days, you may take another capsule. However, if you experience more than two infections in six months, consult your doctor.

Canesten Oral Capsule may not be suitable for you. Consult your doctor if you are unsure about having thrush, if it's your first time with these symptoms, if you've had thrush more than twice in six months, if you or your partner have had a sexually transmitted disease, if you are under 16 or over 60, if you've had an allergic reaction to fluconazole or other antifungal products, if you have liver or kidney issues, or any chronic illness. The capsule contains lactose monohydrate; contact your doctor if you have a sugar intolerance. Inform your doctor or pharmacist about any other medications you are taking. Do not use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor for an appropriate treatment.
