For non-medicinal products, you are eligible to return the product within 14 days of receipt in the same packaging you received. For medicinal products, you are eligible to cancel the order only until it has been dispatched. From that point forward, you are no longer eligible to return the order.

What are the types of hair loss?
Androgenic alopecia is male or female pattern hair loss that is caused by family genetics. Alopecia areata is a medical condition that causes patchy hair loss as a result of a change in the immune system. Hair loss may also be caused by a hair-pulling disorder called trichotillomania. If you are undergoing certain medical treatments, you may also experience hair loss.
Can you use a hair loss treatment at home?
There are many types of treatment for hair loss which can be used at home. Hair loss medications can be supplied as oral tablets or as topical gels, foams or solutions that you can apply directly to the scalp.
What is an online consultation?

Hair loss can be treated with various types of medications. The main two hair loss medications are finasteride (men only) and minoxidil (rogaine). These medicines may come as just a tablet or as a non-prescription topical solution that may be in a liquid, foam or shampoo form.
Is hair loss medicine safe in the long term?
As with any medication, side effects can occur. Finasteride is generally safe for long-term use as people have taken it for years without problems.
However, it is important to note that there have been rare reports of breast cancer in some men who use finasteride. There may also be a negative effect of erectile dysfunction for some men.
Similarly, minoxidil is safe for long-term use but may still present side effects.What can I expect to happen when I use a hair loss treatment?
As hair grows in cycles that can vary in duration from weeks to several months, re-growing hair will require several months before noticeable results can be seen.
- For minoxidil, at least six months of treatment are needed to prevent and regrow hair loss.
- Results from finasteride can be seen in a few months but will require ongoing use for best results.
Are there any alternative treatments for hair loss?
Other treatments available for hair loss include:
- Steroid injections and creams
- Immunotherapy, a chemical applied to bald patches
- Light treatment where ultraviolet light is shined onto bald patches
- Hair transplant, hair is taken from the back of the head and moved into areas of thinning
- Scalp reduction surgery, sections of the scalp with hair are stretched and stitched together
- An artificial hair transplant is a surgery that implants artificial hairs onto the scalp.
