Gyno-Daktarin is an anti-fungal intravaginal cream used to treat vaginal thrush in adults. It can effectively treat both internal and external vaginal thrush. It contains Miconazole 2% as an active ingredient.

What is Gyno-Daktarin?
Gyno-Daktarin is a medication used to treat internal and external vaginal thrush symptoms in adults.
How does it work?
The cream contains the active ingredient miconazole nitrate 2% which works to kill the fungus that has caused the infection. The cream is inserted into the vagina using the applicator and will begin to reduce the uncomfortable symptoms of thrush.
Is Gyno-Daktarin suitable for me?
If you have symptoms of itchy, dry red skin in and around the vagina as well as thick, white discharge, you may have thrush. Consult with your doctor about the best treatment options for you.
Side Effects

Dosage
Commonly Used Dosage Guidelines for Gyno-Daktarin.
Insert the cream in vagina using the applicator once daily before bedtime. Your doctor may suggest using it for 7 days. Please follow the prescriber's instructions on how much cream to use it and how long for.

The active ingredient miconazole nitrate 2% belongs to a group of anti-fungal drugs called azoles. They are very effective in treating fungal skin infections.
They are available over the counter and on prescriptions depending on the patient's symptoms.
