Remove Acticoat Flex 3 from the package. If the wound is dry or has minimal exudate, moisten the dressing with drinking water. If there is moderate to high exudate, do not moisten the dressing. Cut the dressing to the required size and shape. Apply to the wound without stretching, with either side facing down. Ensure the stretch direction is along the limb. When using with negative pressure wound therapy, use and change the wound filler material as per the manufacturer's instructions. Keep the dressing moist. Change the dressing based on exudate levels and wound condition. Secure with a suitable secondary dressing.

Do not apply to patients allergic to silver. Remove Acticoat from the MRI imaging area. If outside the imaging area, it can stay during the MRI. Remove Acticoat Flex before radiation therapy and reapply a new dressing after treatment.
