The first time you use AproDerm Gel, you may need to press the nozzle up to 10 times before the gel is dispensed—this is normal. Apply AproDerm Gel regularly and generously to the affected area, smoothing it onto the skin in the direction of hair growth. Do not rub the gel in, as this can cause heat, irritation, and itching, and may block hair follicles, leading to folliculitis. Leave a thin layer of gel on the skin and let it absorb, which may take about 10 minutes. The frequency of application depends on the severity of the skin condition. Generally, AproDerm Gel should be applied generously to affected areas regularly and as needed or as directed by your doctor. AproDerm Gel can be used before bathing to protect the skin from drying and after bathing on nearly dry skin to retain moisture. Continue using AproDerm Gel after your skin improves to prevent flare-ups and maintain healthier skin.
