The Cetraben Cream is an emollient which is a type of topical solution that forms a thin protective layer on the skin. This layer allows its rich ingredients, e.g., light liquid paraffin, soft white paraffin, trisodium citrate dihydrate, glycerol, citric acid, cetostearyl alcohol, emulsifying wax, phenoxyethanol, purified water etc., to work. This layer keeps the skin hydrated and keeps the irritants, e.g., detergents, soaps, etc., away.
