Product Description

Crystacide 1% Cream is a topical medication used to treat bacterial skin infections. It is available as a 25g and 40g sized cream. Crystacide contains hydrogen peroxide 1%, and is effective in treating superficial bacterial skin infections such as non-bullous impetigo. It has bactericidal activity against a variety of microorganisms and is considered a useful antiseptic agent. 

Features:
• Effective against a wide range of bacterial skin infections
• Easy to apply in a cream form
• Contains 1% of the active ingredient hydrogen peroxide

Uses:
Treatment of superficial bacterial skin infections such as non-bullous impetigo. Usually applied 2 to 3 times a day for 5 to 7 days. 

Warnings:
• For external use only
• If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use
• If symptoms persist, consult a doctor
• Keep out of reach of children
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use
• Do not use on broken or irritated skin
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage
• Store in a cool, dry place and protect from light
• Do not use after the expiry date.

Active Ingredients: Hydrogen Peroxide 1% w/w.

Excipients: Glyceryl Monolaurate, glyceryl monomyristate, macrogol stearate 5000, propylene glycol, anhydrous citric acid, sodium hydroxide, sulphuric acid, sodium oxalate, salicylic acid, disodium edetate, sodium pyrophosphate, sodium stannate and purified water.

How to take

For external use only. Use a small amount on the affected area 2-3 times daily or as needed. If using a waterproof bandage, once a day may be enough. A dry layer may form on the skin after use; it can be rinsed off with water. Do not use for more than 3 weeks in a row. Avoid using on large or deep wounds or on uninjured skin. Hydrogen peroxide may bleach fabrics. Apply TWO to THREE times daily for 5 to 7 days or as directed by the doctor or pharmacist.
