Fortisip Extra Vanilla can be used alone or in conjunction with food and drink to help you gain and/or maintain a healthy weight. The Fortisip Extra line includes 5 milkshake flavours that are vitamin and mineral-enriched, with over 320 calories per Fortisip Extra drink to provide maximum dietary nutrition and healthy weight gain.

Fortisip Extra is a Food for Special Medical Purposes that should only be used under the supervision of a doctor. Fortisip Extra is a ready-to-drink, milkshake-style nutritional supplement with high energy (1.6kcal/ml) and protein (20g protein/200ml bottle) for patients with increased nutritional needs.

Indications:

Only for enteral use. ACBS-approved and prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the following indications: short bowel syndrome; intractable malabsorption; pre-operative preparation of malnourished patients; inflammatory bowel disease; total gastrectomy; dysphagia; bowel fistulae; disease-related malnutrition.
