Product Description

It helps to prevent irritation by minimising tug and pull and cutting hair at the skin level. The SkinGuard razor is clinically proven to be gentle on sensitive skin while providing the same reliable shave as Gillette razors.

Features:
New SkinGuard technology: Not every man's skin is the same, and if you have acne or sensitive skin, the Gillette SkinGuard razor is for you.

Low cutting force blade: To reduce tugging and pulling and to cut hair at skin level, minimising contact between your skin and the blades.

Lubrication of the blades before and after use
Double-lubrastrips lubricate the skin and provide a smooth shave.

SkinGuard is our first razor designed specifically for men with sensitive skin and razor bumps. Because of its unique SkinGuard positioned between the blades, the razor shaves hair while also protecting skin.

How to take

If you have a full beard, trim it with clippers or scissors. Electric clippers are recommended. Clean your face with an exfoliating wash. Some prefer using a warm washcloth to soften the beard and open pores, but ensure the water isn't too hot to avoid skin slackening and moisture loss. Prepare your shaving kit before washing your face to start shaving while your beard is still soft and pores are open. For disposable razors, soak them in cold water to prevent dulling. Apply shaving oil to your beard before shaving cream to help the razor glide and reduce razor burn. Use a shaving brush to apply cream, which softens the beard and exfoliates the skin. If you're low on shaving cream, use conditioner or shaving oil. Avoid bar soap as it can dull the blade. Choose the right blade based on beard coarseness, skin texture, and shaving preference. For sensitive skin with a heavy beard, a multi-blade razor is recommended. Shave in small sections, using short, light, downward strokes, and keep the blade almost parallel to the face. Pull the skin tight with your free hand and rinse the blade often. After shaving, rinse your face with warm water and check for missed areas. Reapply shaving cream and shave in a different direction if needed, but not against the grain. Pay attention to neck and jawline hairs. Rinse with cool water and pat dry. Apply a non-alcoholic shaving balm, and use low-concentration tea tree oil if desired. For nicks, rinse with cold water, apply witch hazel, and use moistened paper on cuts. Consider a styptic pencil for frequent nicks. Maintain your shaving tools by rinsing, drying, and storing them in a dry place. Replace blades as needed to avoid irritation and razor burn.
