Imodium IBS Relief Capsules 2mg (Pack of 6 Capsules)

Imodium IBS Relief Capsules 2mg is an over-the-counter medication used to treat the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, and discomfort. The active ingredient in this medication is loperamide hydrochloride, which is an anti-diarrheal agent. Loperamide works by slowing down the movement of the intestines, which reduces the frequency and urgency of bowel movements.

How to Use:

Take the medication with a full glass of normal water.
For adults and children over 12 years of age, take two capsules initially, followed by one capsule after each loose bowel movement, up to a maximum of 6 capsules per day. Do not exceed the recommended dosage or use the medication for longer than directed.

Use for up to 2 weeks for recurring episodes, but not for any single episode lasting more than 48 hours. If symptoms change, worsen, or do not improve after 2 weeks, consult a doctor. For short-term diarrhea: Adults and children over 12 years: Start with 2 capsules. Take 1 capsule after each loose stool, up to a maximum of 6 capsules daily. If diarrhea persists for more than 48 hours, consult a doctor. Not recommended for children under 12 years.
