A urine sample is collected and applied to the test stick, and results are obtained from the coloured lines.

1. The test cap should be removed and the absorbent tip should be placed into a collected urine sample, or into the urine stream for 15 seconds. 2. After 15 seconds, replace the cap and put the test stick on a flat surface.3. The test will need to be left for 3 minutes, after which the results can be read.Important: after 10 minutes the results should not be interpreted.

A POSITIVE result will show up as two distinct coloured lines, one in the control line region (C), and the other in the test line region (T). The two lines can be different colours, one may be lighter than the other, but they do not have to match. If two lines appear, a pregnancy is detected. A NEGATIVE reading will be determined if only the control line (C) appears. If no line has appeared in the test line region (T), then no pregnancy has been detected.An INVALID reading will show if there has been no coloured line in the control line region (C), even if one has appeared in the test line region (T). If this occurs, you should repeat the test with another midstream test.
