The Core Ingredient Is: Pea Protein

Pea protein is a plant-based protein source that delivers essential amino acids needed for typical muscle maintenance and restoration.

This form is derived from peas and forms part of a multi-source blend including pumpkin and watermelon seed proteins, with extra ingredients to support nutrient absorption and digestion.

What Pea Protein Does?

Pea protein contributes to supplying essential amino acids that support muscle protein synthesis and recovery in active individuals.

As a plant protein, it participates in normal muscle function and supports protein turnover; this aligns with nutritional guidance on protein quality for muscle maintenance.

This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Naughty Boy is Welzo’s chosen partner for this plant-based protein because the brand delivers a premium formulation with clear, patient-friendly transparency. The protein blend uses pea, pumpkin and watermelon seed sources and explicitly shows per-serving amounts, aligning with our commitment to traceable, reliably disclosed ingredients. This brand also integrates AstraGin® and DigeZyme® to support absorption and digestive comfort, a combination we recognise for helping maximise the value of each scoop.

Our selection process emphasises product quality standards and rigorous vetting by Welzo's healthcare professionals, who assess how a brand manages ingredient integrity and testing. Naughty Boy’s focus on a complete amino acid profile from multi-source plant proteins reflects the quality mindset we look for in a partner. For customers, this means a plant-based option that prioritises both nutrition and practical digestion considerations, backed by our ongoing assurance that ingredients are verified as part of our quality checks (how we verify ingredient quality).
