The amount of feed and its dilution should be determined solely by a clinician or dietitian, based on the infant's age, weight, and medical condition. Preparation & Administration: FOLLOW THE PREPARATION AND USE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY FOR YOUR INFANT'S HEALTH. INCORRECT PREPARATION CAN CAUSE ILLNESS. Each level scoop (4.6g) of Neocate LCP should be mixed with 30ml (about 1 fl. oz) of water to achieve the recommended concentration (13.8%). Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area. Sterilize bottles and teats. Boil fresh water for 5 minutes, then let it cool for at least 30 minutes until warm to the wrist. Pour the required water into a sterilized feeding bottle. Fill the provided scoop with Neocate LCP, leveling it with a clean, dry knife. Do not pack the powder into the scoop. Use only the provided scoop. Discard any formula left in the bottle after one hour of feeding. Do not reheat formula during feeding. Add the prescribed number of Neocate LCP scoops to the water. Secure the bottle cap and shake until the powder dissolves. Before feeding, check the formula temperature by placing a few drops on the wrist.
