L-theanine is an amino acid that occurs naturally in green tea (Camellia sinensis) leaves. Suntheanine® is produced by controlled fermentation rather than extracted from tea, giving pure L-theanine without caffeine or tea polyphenols. The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, ascorbyl palmitate and silicon dioxide.
Directions
Adults: take one to two capsules, one to two times daily as needed. Children: take half to one capsule, one to two times daily. Take with or without food. Capsules can be opened and the contents mixed with cool food or liquid. Or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
