Betaine, folate, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 each contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism; for betaine, the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 1.5 g. Choline contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism, and zinc to normal DNA synthesis. The B vitamins are supplied in their bioactive forms.
Directions
Take half a scoop daily with food, mixed with 150–250 ml of water (dilute to taste). Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose.
