A kind of depression called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) can be caused by seasonal changes. Depression, extreme tiredness, drowsiness, and changes in appetite may be experienced by SAD patients, resulting in weight gain. SAD is more common in autumn and winter due to the reduction in sunlight.

The SAD Daylight Lamp emits light from an LED, which is diffusely reflected by a diffuser film and provides a brightness of up to 10000 lux at a distance of 10cm from the lamp.

The light from such lamps is thought to improve SAD by encouraging the brain to produce more serotonin while decreasing melatonin production (a hormone that makes you sleepy).

Direcion for use:
30 minutes to 1 hour per day.
