The official replacement battery for the WeCan EasyFold X-11, X-12 and X-17 folding mobility scooters. Keep one as a spare for longer journeys or fit it as a direct replacement when the original pack reaches the end of its life. The battery sits in the scooter's front floor panel and lifts out in seconds by its built-in handle – no tools needed.

Key features

• Genuine WeCan part for the EasyFold X-11, X-12 and X-17
• Available in 6.6Ah and 10.1Ah capacities
• Removable – charge in the scooter via the rear port or separately indoors
• Charging indicator: red while charging, green when complete
• Built-in handle for easy lifting
• Automatic power-saving mode on the scooter extends battery life

Choose 6.6Ah for the lightest pack or 10.1Ah for maximum range. Give the battery a full 10–12 hour charge before first use. To get the longest life, keep it seated flat in its tray, check the connectors occasionally and protect it from extreme temperatures and moisture.

VAT relief

Replacement batteries for a mobility scooter qualify for VAT relief when bought by, or for, a chronically sick or disabled person for personal use. Choose the VAT Relief option and complete the declaration at checkout; otherwise select the standard-rated option.

Important information

Compatible with WeCan EasyFold X-11, X-12 and X-17 only. Lithium batteries are a consumable item and carry a 6-month warranty, shorter than the one-year cover on other scooter components. Never open the pack. Recycle at an approved battery collection point at end of life.

We understand that investing in a mobility scooter is an important decision, that is why we offer flexible payment options to make it easier.

Pay in 4 Interest-Free Installments

At checkout, simply select “Clearpay” as your payment method. Clearpay allows you to spread the cost of your mobility scooter over four interest-free installments, paid every two weeks.

Here’s how it works:

1. Choose Clearpay at checkout – no lengthy forms or credit checks.

2. Pay the first installment today – this is usually 25% of your order total.

3. The remaining three payments are taken automatically from your chosen payment method every two weeks.

4. No interest or hidden fees – as long as you make your payments on time.

It’s a simple, safe, and flexible way to make your mobility scooter more affordable, helping you get the independence and comfort you deserve — without the upfront cost.

Clearpay is available to UK residents aged 18 and over. Late fees may apply for missed payments. Terms and conditions apply.

Some of our products, such as mobility scooters and daily living aids, are eligible for VAT relief under HMRC rules.

You can claim VAT relief if you are, or are buying for, a person who is chronically sick or disabled, and the goods are for personal or domestic use.

This means the person has a long-term illness or disability that substantially affects their everyday activities.

At checkout, you’ll be asked to fill in your details and confirm the declaration below to claim VAT relief:

“I confirm that I am, or I am buying for, a chronically sick or disabled person, and that the goods are for personal or domestic use.”

By agreeing to this declaration, you are confirming that you meet the conditions set out by HMRC Notice 701/7 for VAT exemption. You can read more here.
