First, make sure the limb is adequately padded if necessary, then start at the base of the toes, applying the bandage in a spiral manner with a 50% overlap, stretching fully with each wrap while moving up the leg, securing the bandage in a figure-of-eight shape around the ankle, and ending just below the knee.
