What is Canesten Thrush Duo?

Canesten Thrush Duo is a convenient and complete treatment of penile and vaginal thrush. It is a recommended treatment for diagnosed cases of thrush, it reduces fungal growth and infections within 7 days. 

How does it work?

The capsule contains fluconazole as the active ingredient. It is a powerful antifungal drug. It causes holes in the fungus and yeast cell membranes and kills them. The cream contains clotrimazole, another antifungal with similar properties. Both these drugs target the fungi to treat the thrush.

Is the Canesten Thrush Duo suitable for me?

It is suitable for adult men and women having vaginal or penile thrush. The capsule has lactose monohydrate. You need to consult with the doctor if you are lactose intolerant. For children, it has to be prescribed by the doctor.

• The capsule should be taken with or without food and with a glass of water. 
• The cream should be applied around the penis or the vaginal entrance 2-3 times daily. Continue the treatment until the symptoms disappear.
