What is Kwells?

Kwells is a travel sickness preventative medication. It contains the ingredient hyoscine which is used to treat motion sickness. 

How does it work?

The hyoscine blocks the functioning of the naturally found chemical acetylcholine. Blocking the acetylcholine, will reduce the amount of saliva produced by the salivary glands as well as secretions in the lungs. It is not yet fully understood how motion sickness is prevented by the use of hyoscine, however, it is thought that it prevents messages between your inner ear and the part of your brain that controls vomiting. It also relaxes the wave-like muscle contractions that take place in the walls of your stomach.

Is Kwells suitable for me?

If you experience travel or motion sickness, Kwells may be right for you. It is suitable for adults and children over 4 years.
