What is Otrivine Extra Dual Relief Nasal Spray?
Otrivine Extra Dual Relief Nasal spray is a treatment for runny nose and nasal congestion which is caused by the common cold. Each application provides a measured dose of the active ingredients, Xylometazoline Hydrochloride and Ipratropium Bromide that helps to relieve symptoms of congestion, sinus pressure, runny nose, and sneezing.

What causes blocked and runny noses?
Runny and blocked noses that are not caused by an allergic reaction which is also known as non-allergic rhinitis; are caused by inflammation which is typically the result of swollen blood vessels and a fluid build-up in the tissues of the nose. This swelling constricts the nasal passages and stimulates the mucus glands, causing the typical symptoms of a runny or blocked nose.

Ingredients

Active ingredients: 1ml contains Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 0.5mg, Ipratropium Bromide 0.6mg. 1 puff contains 70 micrograms Xylometazoline Hydrochloride and 84 micrograms Ipratropium Bromide.

Also contains: Disodium Edetate, Glycerol (85%), Purified Water, as well as Hydrochloric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide (to adjust pH).
