Mebeverine is a type of medicine which helps to reduce muscle spasms. It can also help if you are having stomach cramps. Mebeverine comes in the form of tablets, but if you are having any issues swallowing the tablets, it also comes in form of liquid.

What is Mebeverine?
Mebeverine is a type of prescription medicine known as an antispasmodic. It is used to relieve stomach cramps caused by irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
How does it work?
It aims to relax the muscles of the gastrointestinal tract (gut), so food is able to pass through the intestines easily and be digested.
Is Mebeverine suitable for me?
It is a viable treatment for those wanting to help manage the spasm, pain and other symptoms of IBS.
Dosage
Your dosage is dependent on your doctor's recommendations and the extent of your condition.
Recommended Dosage for Mebeverine
- Take one standard release tablet three times a day
- Your tablet intake may be lowered if your symptoms improve
