Description
Relvar Ellipta for Asthma & Breathing Problems
Asthma and Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are breathing conditions that primarily affect the lungs and can cause a range of breathing difficulties. Asthma often occurs after exposure to a trigger, however, it can happen randomly. Triggers may include common allergies to pollen or animal dander, infections, environmental changes or from exercise.
Relvar Ellipta is an inhaler for breathing concerns such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This is a daily treatment for the prevention of sudden attacks of breathlessness, wheezing and other acute symptoms of an asthma attack. This is not a reliever/rescue inhaler.
What is Relvar Ellipta and how does it work?
Relvar Ellipa is a combination inhaler that contains the two active ingredients fluticasone furoate and vilanterol. Fluticasone is a corticosteroid medication that reduces inflammation in the lungs, while vilanterol is a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles in the airways to allow for easier breathing.
