For adults 18 years and older: Place one to two tablets under the lip for up to 2 days. Position the tablet high on the top gum under the upper lip on either side of the mouth and let it dissolve completely. The tablet will soften and stick to the gum, taking about 1 to 2 hours to fully dissolve. Most users find they don't notice the tablet after a few minutes. Avoid moving the tablet with your tongue, as this will speed up dissolution. If using two tablets, place the second one next to the first on the top gum, not on top of it. Take the tablet(s) after meals. Do not chew or swallow the tablet. If you wear dentures, place the tablet(s) in a comfortable spot between the lip and gum. If you miss a dose, do not double the next dose. Continue taking the medicine as recommended.
