The Active Ingredient Is: Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE)

Grapefruit seed extract is a plant-based antimicrobial component used in liquid form for its broad-spectrum activity. This extract is derived from grapefruit seeds and the whole fruit and is delivered in a glycerine base to aid palatability and dosing flexibility.

This form is used as part of a dietary supplement to support normal microbial balance and overall topical and oral applications, with formulation details suggesting it is glycerine-based for ease of use.

What Does Grapefruit Seed Extract Do?

Grapefruit seed extract participates in antimicrobial activity in laboratory studies, which provides a mechanistic basis for its potential role in supporting natural defences against microbes. This aligns with EFSA guidance on supporting normal immune function through plant-based constituents.

Emerging evidence points to mechanisms involve bioactive compounds that disturb microbial membranes, contributing to its noted activity in vitro.

This supplement isn't meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
