Using Epaderm as a skin cleanser allows dry skin to be washed without losing more moisture or encountering issues from typical soap additives. Instructions: take a small amount from the container, lather with warm water, and use like regular soap. Soaking the skin in an emollient is crucial for optimal rehydration as part of complete emollient therapy. When using Epaderm as a bath additive, be cautious as it can make the bath surface slippery. Instructions: take 4g (about the size of a two-pound coin) from the container, dissolve it in a cup of hot water, and ensure it has cooled before adding to the bath. Do not apply hot water directly to the skin. A measure of Epaderm Ointment is approximately 4g, similar to the size of a £2 coin or a teaspoon. There is no limit to the amount of Epaderm you can use. The following is a guide and may vary based on body size and skin dryness. It is recommended to start with a smaller amount and adjust as needed for your skin. For children under ten years old, use half the suggested amounts. Face, Ears, Neck: 1/2 - 1 measure twice daily. Arms: 1 - 2 measures twice daily. Back: 1 - 2 measures twice daily. Torso: 1 - 2 measures twice daily. Legs: 3 - 4 measures twice daily. Hands: 1/4 - 1/2 measure twice daily.
