Ibuprofen comes from a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (i.e. NSAIDs). NSAIDs work by inhibiting an enzyme which is a chemical that causes other chemical reactions to occur; which is called cyclooxygenase, sometimes referred to as COX. This enzyme is very important for the production of chemicals called prostaglandins and these substances have a few different roles, one of which is to cause inflammation.

Ibuprofen can be used for the conditions such as headaches, nerve pain (neuralgia), period pain, migraine, toothache and It is also effective for reducing discomfort and fever related to the colds and flu.

The Ibuprofen 200mg contains active ingredient, Ibuprofen 200mg. It also contains, Potato Starch, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Calcium Carbonate, Povidone, Alginic Acid, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Purified Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Sucrose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, PVAP Sealcote (contains Polyvinyl Acetate Phthalate and Stearic Acid), Croscarmellose Sodium, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Acacia and Carnauba Wax.
