L-Citrulline is an amino acid linked to metabolic processes that boost blood flow and muscle performance.

This variant is made by fermentation and is suitable for vegan diets, delivering an absorbable source of the nutrient that participates in nitric oxide production.

What Does L-Citrulline Do?

L-Citrulline takes part in the body's nitric oxide cascade, which helps regulate blood vessel dilation and nutritional delivery to muscle groups during exercise. EFSA and associated sports nutrition research recognise its role in bolstering vascular health and exercise performance.

Dr Pérez-Guisado from the University of Granada found that higher intake can boost blood flow and muscle fullness during resistance training, reflecting its involvement in nitric oxide production and oxygen delivery.
