Nicotinamide riboside is a pyridine-nucleoside form of vitamin B3 that occurs in trace amounts in milk and yeast. In the body it is converted through the nicotinamide riboside kinase pathway into nicotinamide mononucleotide and then into NAD+, a coenzyme found in every living cell that participates in energy-yielding metabolism. Each capsule contains only the active ingredient, microcrystalline cellulose as a bulking agent and two anticaking agents.
