Overdose: The combination of praziquantel, pyrantel embonate, and febantel is generally well tolerated in dogs. In safety studies, doses five times the recommended amount occasionally caused vomiting. Use during pregnancy, lactation, or lay: High doses of febantel have shown teratogenic effects in sheep and rats. No studies have been conducted in dogs during early pregnancy. Use during pregnancy should be based on a benefit/risk assessment by a veterinarian. It is advised not to use the product in dogs during the first four weeks of pregnancy. Do not exceed the recommended dose for pregnant dogs. The chewable tablets can be used during lactation.
