Alinia (aliniamide) is a drug used to treat infections brought on by particular bacterial species. It is a member of the aminoglycosides drug class. Alinia works by eradicating or inhibiting the growth of bacteria.
Alinia comes in tablet and oral suspension forms. Typically, it is taken three times per day, either with or without food.

Alinia is a prescription drug that must only be taken as prescribed by your doctor. Even if you are feeling better, it is crucial to complete the entire course of treatment. Alinia may not completely cure the infection, and it could return if you stop taking it too soon.
Pharmacokinetics

It is widely dispersed throughout the body, with serum levels being higher than those in cerebrospinal fluid. Alinia gets into breast milk after crossing the placenta.
