Pay with Finance

We understand that investing in a mobility scooter is an important decision, that is why we offer flexible payment options to make it easier.

Pay in 4 Interest-Free Installments

At checkout, simply select “Clearpay” as your payment method. Clearpay allows you to spread the cost of your mobility scooter over four interest-free installments, paid every two weeks.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Choose Clearpay at checkout – no lengthy forms or credit checks.
  2. Pay the first installment today – this is usually 25% of your order total.
  3. The remaining three payments are taken automatically from your chosen payment method every two weeks.
  4. No interest or hidden fees – as long as you make your payments on time.

It’s a simple, safe, and flexible way to make your mobility scooter more affordable, helping you get the independence and comfort you deserve — without the upfront cost.

Clearpay is available to UK residents aged 18 and over. Late fees may apply for missed payments. Terms and conditions apply.

Only putting one star as I can’t put zero. You must avoid Welzo - do not purchase anything from t...

Avoid Welzo at all costs. This is my experience and since dealing with them , I have found many others who have had similar experiences .

I purchased a disability scooter directly online, for my wife on 1st August 2026 for our upcoming trip to Florida. She has significant issues walking and this would help her enjoy the trip.
I ordered a Welzo Stealth folding scooter and spare battery for £1199.98. I paid via Clearpay in four instalments over 4 weeks.
A day after ordering, I received an email telling me they were out of stock and offered an alternative - a Welzo X-fold . It was described to me as the same machine but just a different colour.
I accepted the alternative as the holiday was approaching.
On 4th August 2026, a T-Sport machine arrived which is a completely different manufacturer.
I also found that the scooter does not “ lock” open, which means it could possibly fold if it hit a pothole, or dropped off a footpath etc. The seat cushion was also missing.
I immediately wrote to Welzo, on 5th August 2026, listing all of the issues above and requested a refund.
They requested photos and videos which I sent by email, and they told me they would review my request.
Since then it has been a constant trail of emails back and forth with continual delaying tactics by “Anna” at Welzo.
I have now received an email refusing my request, saying that the branding doesn’t matter and the machine is not faulty - it’s designed not to lock with a safety lock. I still don’t have the missing seat cushion.
The machine has been in the box since receipt, and never used.
I have now had to buy another scooter from another local supplier at a greater cost (£1700), at short notice in order to use for the holiday.
I can’t do much at the moment as we have just arrived in Florida for two weeks.
All of the above is on email record , including photos and videos.
Since my experience, I have now found others have had similar problems, with Welzo and they seem to be some front company for general distribution.
I also contacted Clearpay but they said they couldn’t help earlier as the seller had not confirmed the refund.
I even contacted trading standards,
so I’m hoping you can help us.
As an engineer to trade and a safety manager for a large construction company, I also don’t understand how a machine designed to be used by disabled persons, can be on the market with a mechanism which has no safety lock. I’m also astounded that a company who profess to be supporters of disabled persons, can treat people a shabbily.
I have begun other proceedings with other agencies and will not let this rest

Robust and well made

I found my welzo mobility of good quality and well made. The controls are easy to use and comfortable seat. My only fault was the charger supplied the plug lead is a very poor fit to the charger itself and keeps slipping out and I find it difficult to re charge.

Lightweight mobility scooter

This is a brilliant piece of equipment vin one action it folds to suitcase size and light enough to just lift into the boot of your car without dismantling any of it. The scooter runs well with a max speed of 6 mph and a range of approximately 10 miles
The only draw back is it doesn’t like having said that it is light enough to lift up the higher kerbs. Really enjoy mine
