What is Anthisan cream?
Anthisan cream is an anti-allergy cream which is applied directly on the site of insect bite, staining nettle or insect bite rash. Its active ingredient is mepyramine maleate which is a first-generation antihistamine drug.
How does it work?
The active ingredient is a well-known antihistaminic compound. It works by blocking histamine, which is an important mediator of allergic reactions. Histamine is responsible for most signs of allergy, i.e., swelling and vasoconstriction. By blocking it, this cream quickly relieves most of the symptoms of allergy.
Is the Anthisan cream suitable for me?
Anthisan cream is useful for both children and adults. It is good for skin rash due to allergic reactions due to any reason e.g,. insect bite, bee sting etc. You need to apply it as soon as you note any insect bite.
