Dosage of Desloratadine
The commonly used dosage guidelines for Desloratadine tablets.
- The recommended dose for adults and children above 12 is one 5mg tablet once daily. It may be taken daily with or without food.
- For children under 12 years, the 5mg tablets shouldn't be used, and a syrup form is more suitable, providing 2.5mg/5ml for 5-11 years and 1.25mg/2.5 ml for children less than 5 years.
It is not recommended to be used in children less than 2 years of age. However, follow the instructions of the Doctor about dosage.
