It is used to relieve abdominal pain caused by smooth muscle spasms. It is also used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) symptoms, including cramps, bloating, diarrhoea, or constipation.

Buscopan helps relieve stomach aches and irritability. Besides bladder problems, it helps relieve discomfort during menstruation. Buscopan can be purchased in tablet form from your local pharmacy. Buscopan can sometimes be injected, however, this generally only happens in hospitals.
