Canesten Combi Pack is a combination treatment that works to fight the internal infection and the external symptoms of vaginal thrush (candidiasis). The pessary is inserted into the vagina to allow the medication to directly treat the infection and relieve itching symptoms. The cream is applied externally to topically treat the symptoms on the outside of the vagina.
How does it work?
The pessary treatment contains the active ingredient clotrimazole in tablet form which is then inserted into the vagina using a plastic applicator. This antifungal agent targets fungal infections and works to kill the infected skin in and around the vagina by interfering with the cell membrane of the fungi.

- When finished, remove the applicator, throw it away in a safe place and wash your hands.
- The external cream should be used 2 or 3 times daily, by adding a thin and even layer around the vagina's entrance. Wash hands before and after use.
