Otomize Ear Spray

Description

Otomize comes as an ear spray consisting of 3 different ingredients; dexamethasone, neomycin and acetic acid. All these ingredients work together to treat the infection as well as reduce the pain, inflammation and swelling. Neomycin is an antibiotic which helps fight the infection, dexamethasone is a steroid which reduces pain and inflammation whilst acetic acid has mild antibacterial properties that facilitate further in treating the infection.

How does it work?

Otomize is used in treating Otitis Externa, also known as Swimmer’s Ear. It is an infection of the outer ear canal and characterised by pain, inflammation, itchiness and swelling of the ear canal. Otomize consists of three different ingredients that treat the inflammation and the infection associated with otitis externa..

Is Otomize right for you?

Otomize is not suitable:

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding

• Are allergic to any of the ingredients

• Have a perforated eardrum

• Have grommets fitted in your ear

Recommended Dosage for Otomize

The ususal dose of Otomize is One spray in the affected Ear(s) THREE times a day. 

However, the prescriber may advise you to use it differenlty. Always follow the instructions given to you by the prescribing healthcare professional.
