Otomize Ear Spray 5ml helps treat mild to moderate outer ear infections (otitis externa or swimmers ear). Otomize contains the active ingredients neomycin sulphate 0.5%, acetic acid 2% and dexamethasone 0.1%.
How does it work?
The ingredients work to fight infection and reduce inflammation. Dexamethasone is a corticosteriod medicine which reduces inflammation, neomycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic which fights the infection and acetic acid is an antibacterial agent that also works to reduce and clear infections.
Is Otomize right for you?
Otomize is used to relieve symptoms of otitis externa or swimmers ear. However, it is not suitable for you if you are:
- allergic to any of the ingredients of otomzie
- if you have a perforated ear drum
- if you have a grommet fitted in the affected ear
