Trimethoprim is an antibiotic prescribed for the treatment of and prophylaxis against uncomplicated Urinary tract infections. The usual treatment is for 3 days, it can be taken with or without food. This treatment is not available online for men, as the urinary tract infection in men can be a little more complicated to treat and require an in-person consultation with a clinician.
Trimethoprim can treat cystitis and other mild to moderate urinary tract infections and recurrent urinary tract infections in females.
