The Active Ingredient Is: Citrulline Malate

Citrulline malate is a compound formed from the amino acid citrulline and malic acid, contributing to normal energy metabolism and exercise performance. This salt form is commonly used to support endurance and sustained effort during training.

This formulation combines citrulline with malate to aid utilisation during workouts and is cited for improving endurance and vasodilation-related effects during exercise.

What Does Citrulline Malate Do?

Citrulline malate helps maintain muscular endurance and supports blood flow by promoting nitric oxide production, contributing to sustained performance during repeated effort. This aligns with evidence describing performance and endurance benefits in training contexts.

Dr. Pérez-Guisado of the University of Extremadura found that citrulline malate can enhance exercise performance in resistance activities. This supports its role in supporting energy metabolism and endurance during workouts.
