The Active Ingredient Is: Citrulline Malate

Citrulline malate is a compound combining the amino acid citrulline with malate, involved in supporting nitric oxide production and muscle blood flow. This formulation uses vegan-sourced citrulline malate to support athletic performance and muscle appearance during exercise.

This form is presented as a vegan-derived citrulline malate complex, designed to support the body’s natural pump pathways and enhance hydration and nutrient delivery during activity.

What Does Citrulline Malate Do?

Citrulline malate participates in nitric oxide pathways to support blood flow and muscle pumps during training, helping to optimise performance-related processes as described by clinical context from researchers at the University of Granada.

The Primary Benefit Is: Nitric oxide-related exercise performance support

Warrior is Welzo’s chosen partner for PUMP because their product line centres on trusted, plant-based sourcing and clear ingredient disclosure, with manufacturing rooted in the UK. This combination aligns with our commitment to quality and supply chain transparency, especially for vegan sourced components like citrulline malate. The brand’s emphasis on non-stimulant formulations also fits Welzo’s approach to offering effective choices that suit diverse workout needs while supporting safe usage.

Our evaluation prioritised sourcing practices, customer safety, and transparent communication, which you can see reflected in their clear allergen labelling and adherence to European disclosure norms. This focus mirrors our own standards and is reinforced by the guidance of our team of medical experts and the framework described in the standards we enforce.

Warrior PUMP fits this brand philosophy by delivering a nitric oxide–driven pump via citrulline malate, beetroot powder and glycerol, making it a product that works cohesively with Welzo’s expert curation and quality controls. We’re confident in this pairing and in the ongoing collaboration with Warrior to uphold high standards across formulation and presentation.
