Raptor Fold Air Ultra-Lightweight Folding Mobility Scooter (14 kg, Airline-Friendly)

Welzo Raptorfold Air – The UK's Ultra-Lightweight Folding Mobility Scooter

Just 14 kg Excluding Battery | Magnesium Alloy Frame | Airline-Friendly

Introducing the Welzo Raptorfold Air, the next generation of lightweight folding mobility scooters. Designed in response to customer feedback and engineered with one goal in mind — to create an even lighter mobility scooter without compromising strength, comfort or reliability.

The Lightest Welzo Mobility Scooter Ever Made

For years, Welzo customers have praised our mobility scooters for their portability and ease of use. But one request kept coming back:

"Can you make it even lighter?"

Our engineering team rose to the challenge — and the answer is a completely redesigned Magnesium Alloy frame.

Why Magnesium Alloy? The Science Behind the Raptorfold Air

Most lightweight mobility scooters use aluminium frames. Whilst aluminium is strong and light, Magnesium Alloy offers a superior strength-to-weight ratio, allowing us to dramatically reduce weight without sacrificing durability.

Widely used in aerospace and high-performance automotive engineering, Magnesium Alloy enables the Welzo Raptorfold Air to remain exceptionally strong whilst being significantly lighter than conventional mobility scooters.

The result? A folding mobility scooter that weighs just:

Only 14kg Excluding Battery

This makes the Raptorfold Air one of the lightest folding mobility scooters available in the UK today.

Whether you're lifting it into a car boot, storing it at home, taking it on holiday or using public transport, the Welzo Raptorfold Air is designed to make everyday mobility easier than ever before.

Class 2 Mobility Scooter – Pavement Friendly, DVLA-Free

The Welzo Raptorfold Air is a Class 2 mobility scooter, designed primarily for pavement use with a maximum speed of 4 mph. No DVLA registration, tax or licence is required — simply charge, fold and go.
