Dosage of Beconase Aqueous
Commonly Used Dosage Guidelines for Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray
Spray twice into each nostril 2 times a day (maximum total of 8 sprays daily. When your symptoms are controlled, reduce the dose to 1 spray into each nostril twice daily. Maximum continuous usage of three months.

How to use Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray?
Always take Beconase Nasal Spray exactly as prescribed by your doctor or advised by the pharmacist.
Beconase Nasal Spray use is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
- The starting recommended dose is 2 sprays per nostril twice daily, follow the recommendation given by your provider.
- Before use, gently shake Beconase Nasal Spray for a few seconds. For the first time use, squirt the pump into the air until a mist appears to prepare it for use.
- To clear your nostrils, blow your nose and Insert the Beconase Nasal Spray tip into one nostril while keeping your head tilted downwards.
- Place one finger on the other nostril to block it. While sniffing, press down on the spray, breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
- Repeat the steps with the other nostril. Once finished, wipe the Beconase Nasal Spray tip and replace the cap.

Warnings and Precautions of Beconase Aqueous
Beconase Nasal Spray may not be safe if taken with other medication or recreational drugs. Please inform the prescriber if you are taking any of the listed medications.
DO NOT use Beconase Nasal Spray:
- If you have an allergy to beclometasone dipropionate or any ingredients in the Beconase Nasal Spray.
- If you are taking medications to treat HIV such as cobicistat and ritonavir.
- If you are taking or have taken steroids long-term.
- If you are taking other medications, consult with your provider for further advise.
