Betnovate scalp application contains the active ingredient betamethasone valerate 0.1%. It contains a steroid used in treating various skin conditions. It is a prescription only medicine, that is usually used for short-term only.

How does it work?

Betamethasone is a potent corticosteroid (not the same kind as a performance-enhancing steroid) that treats inflammation.
