Step 1: Preparation

Prepare the Serum: If your treatment requires a specific serum, fill the reservoir of the pen according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Make sure to use the serum suited for your skin concern.
Step 2: Install the Cartridge
Attach the Cartridge: Open the sealed package and attach the cartridge to the Hydra.Pen H3. Ensure it clicks into place securely to prevent any leakage or instability during use.
Step 3: Adjust Settings
Adjust Needle Depth: Depending on the area of the skin you are treating, adjust the needle depth. Use shorter lengths for sensitive areas like the forehead or around the eyes, and longer lengths for areas like the cheeks or other parts of the body.
Select the Speed: The Hydra.Pen H3 comes with adjustable speed settings. Start at a lower speed to gauge skin sensitivity and increase as needed for comfort and effectiveness.
Step 4: Microneedling Treatment
Apply the Pen: Turn on the Hydra.Pen H3 and gently apply it to your skin using a small, circular motion. Move the device evenly across the treatment area. Do not press too hard; let the needles glide over your skin with light pressure.
Ensure Even Coverage: Cover each area of your skin evenly, overlapping slightly as you move the pen across your face or body to ensure complete coverage without over-treating any part.
Step 5: Post-Treatment Care
Apply a Soothing Serum or Moisturizer: After the treatment, apply a soothing serum or moisturizer to help calm the skin and enhance the healing process.
Clean the Device: Remove the used cartridge and dispose of it safely. Clean the pen’s body with an alcohol wipe and store it properly.
Step 6: Follow-Up Care
Sun Protection: Microneedling can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to protect against UV rays.
Hydration: Keep your skin hydrated internally and externally through appropriate moisturizers and by drinking plenty of water.
