EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are long-chain omega-3 fatty acids found in oily fish. Under EFSA-authorised claims, EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart at a daily intake of 250 mg, and DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision at 250 mg per day. One serving supplies 1,160 mg.
