Anaprox

Anaprox - welzo

Anaprox is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat migraines, menstrual cramps, and other conditions that cause pain and inflammation. The brand-name medications Anaprox DS and Naprosyn, as well as generic Anaprox, are all readily available.

Side Effects

Serious negative effects of anaprox include:

- Kidney issues

- liver injury

- stomach or intestine ulcers or bleeding

- a stroke or a heart attack

- Anaphylactic reactions, or extremely serious allergic reactions

Anaprox may also result in less severe side effects like:

head pain

- stomach ache

• diarrhoea

- sleepiness

- lightheadedness

- skin irritation or rashes

Other NSAIDs, blood thinners, steroids, lithium, methotrexate, potassium-containing salt substitutes, probenecid, or antidepressants may interact with anaprox. If you take Anaprox, your risk of bleeding may also increase.

Dosages

The oral dosage forms of Anaprox include tablets, tablets with an extended release, and suspensions (liquids). A tablet version of Anaprox DS is offered. Depending on the situation, the Anaprox suspension may be taken with or without food. Anaprox tablets and Anaprox DS tablets are usually taken with food or milk to lessen stomach upset.

Precautions

Your risk of developing potentially fatal heart or circulation issues, such as a heart attack or stroke, can rise if you use anaprox. The longer you use Anaprox, the higher the risk will be. Avoid taking Anaprox right before or right after having a coronary artery bypass graft, also known as a bypass surgery.

If you are allergic to aspirin, salicylates, aspirin, Anaprox, or any other NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug), do not take it. Additionally, Anaprox might include inactive components that raise the risk of allergic reactions or other issues.
